I’m an artist based in Umeå, Sweden. After a decade as a payroll manager, I now turn to
alternative photographic techniques to slow down and reconnect with my inner self.
In my artistic exploration, I focus on experimental photographic techniques, often
incorporating embroidery to create a fusion of textile and photography.
My work emerges from deep personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions—a form of visual
therapy where I strive to understand and visualize my inner world.
I embrace the slow and random as a contrast to our fast-paced and controlled everyday life.
By using techniques that demand time and challenge my control over the process, I create
space for the unexpected and organic. Each technique I explore is carefully chosen not only
to give shape to my themes but also to contribute a deeper meaning to each piece.
